Abstrakt: The results of an analysis of the wear of a combine harvester chopper knives are presented. It is established that the maximum wear of blades is 225 hectares of harvested area, after which they should be replaced. The effectiveness of methods for blade hardening is assessed. Using changes in the hardness and microhardness of metallographic and X-ray phase analysis, the optimal blade hardening method is determined. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
