Abstrakt: This article examines the differences in commitment to organizations between Generation X and Generation Y. The research suggests that Generation Y tends to have higher levels of commitment due to their openness to participation in decision-making and their value of flexibility, innovation, and opportunities for development. In contrast, Generation X may have lower expectations and be more skeptical, which affects their level of commitment. The article recommends that organizations implement broader empowerment practices for Generation Y and clarify organizational values for Generation X to increase commitment and overall organizational performance. It also highlights the distinct characteristics of Generation Y, such as their prioritization of work-life balance and desire for work with personal value, as well as the skepticism and testing behavior of Generation X.
