Abstrakt: |
The article explores the impact of respondent characteristics on control beliefs and consumption intentions of processed fish products in Indonesia. It highlights the significance of fish as a source of protein and its potential health benefits. The study finds that respondent characteristics have a significant influence on control beliefs but not on consumption intentions. Control beliefs, on the other hand, significantly affect the intention to consume processed fish products. The research also validates the instruments used in the study and establishes the positive influence of confidence control on consumption intentions. The article concludes that confidence control is a crucial predictor of the intention to consume processed fish products. Additionally, it discusses strategies for improving adolescent nutrition in Indonesia, emphasizing the importance of effective communication in promoting social and behavioral change.
