This article discusses a study on the factors that affect the pronunciation of Filipino Grade 11-12 students in English as a Second Language (ESL) learning. The study found that attitude, exposure, mother tongue, and instruction all influence students' pronunciation. The study emphasizes the importance of effective teaching techniques and strategies to improve ESL pronunciation instruction. The findings suggest that increasing exposure to English outside of the classroom, considering the influence of the mother tongue, and providing additional training and resources for teachers can help improve pronunciation. However, the study has limitations and further research is needed. Overall, this study provides valuable insights for educators and curriculum designers to enhance pronunciation instruction.
