Abstrakt: This document discusses the experiences of Japanese Americans during the resettlement period after their release from incarceration camps during World War II. It highlights the challenges they faced in securing housing in a discriminatory real estate market, including racial covenants, restrictive laws, and animosity towards Japanese Americans. Many were forced to live in substandard accommodations or temporary housing settlements.
