Abstrakt: |
This article examines the relationship between students' perceptions of their English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instructors' interpersonal behavior and their English language achievement in Ethiopian universities. The study involved 177 first-year English Language and Literature students and found that understanding and leadership behaviors were positively correlated with students' English achievement. The article emphasizes the importance of continuous training for instructors on interpersonal teaching behavior and its impact on students' language learning. It also discusses the significance of positive teacher-student relationships in promoting academic success and emotional well-being. The study suggests that EFL teachers should focus on improving their connection with students to create a conducive learning environment. [Extracted from the article] |
