This study aims to develop the Funresfo Kit as teaching aid in Cell Respiration and Photosynthesis subtopic. In addition, the suitability of this teaching aid in the learning and facilitation was determined from teachers' perspective, as well as assessing students' perceptions of this kit. The research design is developmental research, based on the ADDIE model, using a quantitative approach. The validation of the kit and instruments were conducted by two experts. A pilot study was conducted to 18 Form 1 teachers and students. The mean value of the reliability (Cronbach's Alpha) of the instrument on teachers and students was α=0.87. A total of 10 teachers and 40 Form 1 students in Permatang Pauh, Penang were selected as the actual samples based on convenience sampling method. Data on the suitability of the Funresfo Kit from teachers and students' perceptions in the learning and facilitation were collected using questionnaires. Descriptive data were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 25. The average value of validity (Cohen Kappa) obtained from two experts was 1.00. Results indicated that the mean score obtained from the teachers' perception on the suitability questionnaire was 3.83, while the mean score obtained from students' perception is also 3.83. The overall mean score obtained from the teachers were in a good mean score, meaning that the Funresfo Kit is suitable for the use as teaching aid. In addition, the students' perception on the kit indicates that students have a high level of interest in using the Funresfo Kit. This study shows that the Funresfo Kit is suitable for the use as teaching aid in learning and facilitation because the Game-Based Learning (GBL) method will attract students to learn this subtopic with full enthusiasm.
