Abstrakt: Air as one of the components that support the life of all living things on this earth, of course has a very important role. Good or bad air quality around, can be seen from the high content of carbon monoxide (CO) and particulates matter (PM2.5) in the ai. Based on data obtained from World Air Quality Report in 2021, Indonesia is a country with the 17th highest average PM2.5 concentration in the world, with a figure of 34.3 g/m³. The research method used is descriptive analysis with an empirical research approach, both digitally, virtual, and field surveys. Assisted by remote sensing technology and geographic information systems. Based on the analyzed data, trends showing West Java Province with high level of AOD, dominated by regions urban or area with density high population as well as sector quite industry growing. Meanwhile, for areas with low level of AOD, dominated by rural areas with density more population low as well as development industry that has not so growing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
