| Abstrakt: |
This article discusses a new technology for targeted brain temperature management in neurology intensive care units (ICUs). The authors have developed a portable device that allows for selective brain temperature management, maximizing neuroprotection while minimizing side effects. The study involved ten comatose patients with traumatic brain injury and showed promising outcomes in terms of controlling intracranial pressure and brain temperature. However, the study acknowledges its limitations and calls for further clinical studies to confirm the benefits of this technology. [Extracted from the article] |
