A recent study conducted by researchers from the University of Wisconsin Madison explored the perceptions of medical student applicants regarding the culture of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency programs during virtual interviews. The study analyzed posts on Reddit to identify themes related to workplace culture, including diversity, equity, and inclusion, social environment, and resident workload. The findings suggest that residency programs should educate residents and faculty about the implications of their conduct during virtual interviews to accurately represent their culture to applicants.
