Abstrakt: A recent study conducted at the Fundeni Clinical Institute in Bucharest, Romania, explored the hemodynamic profile and intraoperative bleeding impact on liver transplant patients. The study included 70 patients who underwent liver transplantation and were monitored using the PiCCO system. The research found that surgical technique caused a significant decrease in cardiac output, and intraoperative bleeding had a major impact on patient outcomes. The study also identified correlations between intraoperative transfusion and postoperative complications. Overall, the findings highlight the importance of managing hemodynamic parameters and bleeding during liver transplantation to improve patient outcomes. [Extracted from the article]
