A recent report from J.N. Medical College discusses a case of a juxta-articular myxoma, a benign tumor commonly associated with larger joints. The case involved a 30-year-old male patient with a myxoma at the metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb. The tumor was diagnosed through ultrasound and X-ray, and was successfully removed through surgery. Six months after the surgery, the patient had full range of motion without pain. This case adds to the limited number of reported cases involving myxomas in the hand. [Extracted from the article] |
