This document is a report on the 2022 Vizient Connections Summit, focusing on three different interventions implemented by different healthcare organizations. The first intervention discusses the efforts of a communications team to improve transparency, trust, and safety within the organization, resulting in higher engagement and job satisfaction. The second intervention describes UAB Medicine's opioid stewardship program, which aimed to improve acute pain management and opioid prescribing through the use of best practice guidelines and service line partnerships. The third intervention outlines UCHealth's creation of clinical outcomes governance groups (COGGs) to standardize care and improve quality metrics across their system.
