The article examines the impact of silage preparation on the survival of fall armyworm larvae and the hatching of their eggs. The study found that when corn contaminated with fall armyworms was used for silage preparation under airtight conditions, the larvae's viability and egg hatchability were significantly reduced. This suggests that there is a low risk of fall armyworm spreading from corn silage prepared under these conditions. The research provides valuable insights for pest management strategies in areas affected by fall armyworm infestations. [Extracted from the article] |
