Abstrakt: With the rapid development of high-speed railway, the phenomenon of premature failure of protective coatings for steel structures in station buildings is becoming increasingly serious. As the most basic protective measures, it is an important prerequisite to maintain the sustainable development of canopy steel structure to apply fire protection paint and ensure the protection effect within the design period. In order to study the deterioration of fire-retardant coatings and its influencing factors, the application status of fire retardant coatings for steel structures in more than 30 high-speed railway station buildings in China was investigated on the spot, and the influencing factors that may lead to the deterioration of coatings in the coating construction process and the service environment in the later period were emphatically analyzed. The key technical points to ensure the quality of fire-retardant coatings were summarized, and it was proposed that besides strictly regulating the operation in the construction process, the corresponding index values of fire-retardant coatings screened and applied in the open-air environment should be improved to meet the harsh service conditions in some special environments.
