A recent study conducted at the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences in Maharashtra, India, focused on the clinicopathological study of lesions in the upper gastrointestinal tract. The researchers emphasized the importance of histopathological confirmation for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. The study analyzed surgical specimens from 140 cases, including biopsies and resected surgical specimens, over a two-year period. The data were analyzed using SPSS software, and various statistical measures were calculated.
