A recent study conducted in Damascus, Syria, examined the prevalence and features of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMSDs) among healthcare workers. The study found that 85% of participants reported experiencing musculoskeletal pain in the past year, with lower back pain being the most common complaint. Factors such as age, gender, body mass index (BMI), marital status, and working hours were associated with a higher prevalence of WRMSDs. The study suggests the need for ergonomics training programs and interventions to improve working conditions for healthcare professionals in Syria. [Extracted from the article] |
