Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at the Medical University of Silesia in Poland aimed to assess parents' knowledge of food additives and their impact on the health of preschool children. The study found that less than half of the surveyed parents believed that the information provided on food additives was easy to understand. Additionally, over half of the respondents were unaware that consuming products with added benzoic acid could lead to hypersensitivity reactions in individuals with certain allergies. The researchers concluded that there is a need for educational activities to increase parents' knowledge about food additives. [Extracted from the article]
