A recent study conducted by Menoufia University compared the effectiveness of two MRI methods, diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and magnetic resonance elastography (MRE), in distinguishing between benign and malignant liver lesions. The study involved 90 patients with hepatic focal lesions, and both MRE and DWI were performed on the patients. The results showed that MRE was more sensitive than DWI in identifying benign and malignant lesions. This research provides valuable insights into the utility of these MRI methods for liver lesion diagnosis. [Extracted from the article] |
