This article summarizes a study conducted in Kolkata, India, on the knowledge, attitude, and practices of the general population towards COVID-19 vaccination. The study found that knowledge about the vaccine varied based on education, occupation, socioeconomic status, and history of COVID-19 infection. Attitude did not vary significantly, while practice scores were associated with education, socioeconomic status, and history of COVID-19 infection. Financial reasons and pregnancy/lactation-related issues were common reasons for not receiving the vaccine. The authors recommend further research and improved communication for future vaccination efforts. [Extracted from the article] |
