A study conducted at Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital in Surabaya, Indonesia, explored the correlation between estrogen receptor (ER) and programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression in type I endometrial cancer (EC). The study included 85 patients who underwent surgery, and immunohistochemistry was performed on all samples. The results showed a strong negative correlation between ER and PD-L1 expression in EC. The findings of this study can be used as a reference for further research on the prognostic and immunotherapeutic value of ER and PD-L1 expression in type I EC. [Extracted from the article] |
