A recent study conducted at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal, explored the prevalence of high serum homocysteine levels among women with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) visiting an infertility clinic. PCOS is a common hormonal disorder that affects women of reproductive age and is characterized by various symptoms. The study found that the prevalence of high homocysteine levels among women with PCOS in this setting was higher than in other similar studies.
