Abstrakt: | Researchers at a Cancer Hospital have published new data on liver cancer. The study aimed to analyze the prognosis of null-margin hepatectomy (NH) in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) adhering to the major vessels and explore the value of postoperative radiotherapy (RT) in these patients. The study found that patients who underwent NH alone had a poorer prognosis, but the addition of RT to NH provided a significant survival benefit for these patients, with outcomes comparable to wide-margin hepatectomy (WH). The research suggests that RT may be a valuable treatment option for HCC patients adhering to major vessels. [Extracted from the article] |
