A recent study conducted in Lalitpur, Nepal, aimed to assess the awareness levels of healthcare professionals (HCPs) regarding medication errors (MEs) and the impact of an educational intervention on their understanding of MEs. The study collected responses from 114 HCPs before and after a two-week educational intervention. The results showed that most HCPs demonstrated good to excellent awareness of MEs, and the educational intervention significantly enhanced their awareness. The study suggests that clinical pharmacists' educational interventions can effectively improve HCPs' understanding of MEs in oncology practice. [Extracted from the article] |
