Abstrakt:	A new report from Odense University Hospital in Denmark presents fresh data on heart attacks. The research focuses on identifying biomarkers for acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in the short- or medium-term, as current biomarkers are lacking. The study used a discordant twin pair design to reduce genetic and environmental confounding, and identified seven significant proteins that may serve as novel biomarkers for AMI.
