Abstrakt: A study conducted by researchers at the University of Castilla La Mancha in Cuenca, Spain, aimed to determine the effectiveness of resistance exercise on inflammatory biomarkers in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). The study included 13 randomized clinical trials and found that resistance exercise was associated with lower levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), an inflammatory biomarker, compared to control groups. However, the evidence for other inflammatory biomarkers was inconclusive. The study suggests that resistance exercise may be an effective strategy for managing systemic inflammation in patients with T2DM. [Extracted from the article]
