New research from Andhra Pradesh, India, focuses on diabetic retinopathy, a condition that can lead to vision loss. The researchers propose a fully automated transfer learning approach called TaNet for diagnosing diabetic retinopathy, which aims to minimize human intervention while maintaining high classification accuracy. The proposed model was tested and achieved a classification rate with above 98% sensitivity, specificity, precision, and accuracy. This research offers a potential enhancement to existing approaches for diagnosing and classifying diabetic retinopathy. [Extracted from the article] |
