Abstrakt: A new study conducted by researchers at Public Assistance - Paris Hospitals (AP-HP) focuses on personalized medicine and the occurrence of iatrogenic cerebrospinal fluid leak (iCSF-L) in endonasal surgeries. The study aims to provide a topographical map of iCSF-L and investigate the role of skull base asymmetry in its occurrence. The research found that iCSF-Ls present regional skull base involvement, with the ethmoidal roof being the most affected area. The Gera classification was identified as the most reliable in predicting the risk of dural transgression. [Extracted from the article]
