Researchers from Inner Mongolia Agricultural University have conducted a study on the alleviating effect of Lacticaseibacillus paracasei IMAUJBC1 on hyperlipidemia. The study involved a high-fat mouse model and found that the intervention of IMAUJBC1 inhibited weight gain and liver fat accumulation, reduced serum levels of total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, promoted the conversion of liver cholesterol to total bile acid, and increased fecal cholesterol excretion. The researchers concluded that IMAUJBC1 can be used as a functional lactobacillus to intervene in hyperlipidemia. The study provides insights into the mechanism of action of IMAUJBC1 in alleviating hyperlipidemia. [Extracted from the article] |
