Researchers at the Department of Information Technology have conducted a study on Parkinson's disease. Parkinson's disease is a genetic neurological chronic disease that primarily affects older individuals but can also affect younger people. The disease gradually affects the part of the brain responsible for body movement, resulting in symptoms such as tremors, stiffness, loss of speech, and muscle control. The researchers used deep learning algorithms to analyze hand-drawn images and developed a combination of artificial neural networks and machine learning algorithms to improve the accuracy of detecting Parkinson's disease. The findings of this study can help clinicians identify and treat patients with Parkinson's disease more effectively. [Extracted from the article] |
