In view of the current situation of low automation, poor efficiency and high labor intensity of hollow noodle coiling work, an automatic coiling device based on Archimedes spiral trajectory was proposed, and PLC control servo motor was used to realize the automatic operation of the coiling device. The influence of different parameters on Archimedes spiral trajectory in Cartesian coordinate system was studied by Matlab software; and the rationality of the constant speed Archimedes spiral was verified by Adams software; the structural and electrical control system design of the coiling device was designed; a prototype experiment was conducted. The results show that the automatic coiling device has a good effect. Taking 30 mm diameter noodles as an example, the minimum wire rod radius is 30 mm, the maximum wire rod radius is 350 mm, the number of maximum wire rod layers is 7, and the maximum wire rod speed can reach 21 m/min, which can replace manual noodle plate placement.
