This article discusses the coloration of Leaf Green Tree Frogs (Ranoidea phyllochroa) and presents a photographic record of four individuals exhibiting brown coloration. The species is typically described as light to dark green with yellow to white dorsolateral zones and a cream to golden streak. While some authors have mentioned individuals with brown coloration, photographic representation of this is rare. The observations were made during a spotlighting search in Blue Mountains National Park, and the brown coloration may be due to inactivity or environmental factors. [Extracted from the article] |
