Design of SAHA-Loaded PLGA Nanoparticles Aimed for Use in Breast Cancer Combination Therapy.

Abstrakt: This work is devoted to development of a method for synthesis of vorinostat-loaded nanoparticles based on a copolymer of lactic and glycolic acids. The technology of synthesis of polymeric particles was optimized with the help of the Box–Behnken design. The nanoparticles synthesized by using the optimized technology had a spherical shape, which was confirmed by transmission electron microscopy. The average diameter of the nanoparticles was 196 nm, the polydispersity index was 0.089, and the zeta potential was –22.3 mV. Drug loading in the nanoparticles was 0.91 wt %; the analysis was performed by high-performance liquid chromatography. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
