This article, published in the journal Pediatric Anesthesia, discusses the assessment of program information on pediatric anesthesiology fellowship websites. The researchers evaluated 60 websites of pediatric anesthesiology fellowship programs in the United States using 24 criteria. The results showed that, on average, the websites covered 54.9% of the criteria, with some websites lacking information on case log numbers, call responsibilities, clinic/office responsibilities, alumni, and program summaries. The authors suggest that improving the content and presentation of these websites can help applicants make more informed decisions and enhance the selection process. The data supporting this study are available on the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) website. [Extracted from the article] |
