The article discusses medications that can be used as treatment for pediatric attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) to address the shortage of prescription stimulants in the U.S. Topics discussed include the results of a clinical study of the dextroamphetamine patch Xelstrym, the contraindications and adverse drug effects of lisdexamfetamine dimesylate (Vyvanse), and the administration of viloxazine (Qelbree). Also discussed are other medications including atomoxetine and clonidine. |
