Abstrakt: A study conducted at Sichuan University in China investigated the effectiveness and safety of Tenofovir Alafenamide (TAF) in treating patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB). The study enrolled 161 TAF-treated patients, including both treatment-naive and treatment-experienced individuals. The results showed that TAF was highly effective in both groups, with high rates of virologic response and normal alanine aminotransferase levels. However, there were potential risks of decreased estimated glomerular filtration rate and increased lipid levels with prolonged medication use. This research provides real-world data on the use of TAF in CHB patients. [Extracted from the article]
