A study conducted by Hangzhou Medical College in China explored the use of 3D printing technology to guide puncture and drainage surgery for intracerebral hemorrhage. The researchers used CT images to create 3D models of the head and hematoma, and then printed a puncture guide plate. Eight patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage underwent surgery guided by the 3D printing puncture guide plate, resulting in precise placement of drainage tubes and successful extraction of blood clots. The study concluded that this technique helps localize intracerebral hematoma and achieve satisfactory hematoma clearance rates. [Extracted from the article] |
