Abstrakt:	A study conducted by Guangzhou Medical University in China examined the accuracy of simplified calculations of mechanical power (MP) in acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Mechanical ventilation (MV) is a crucial method used in the intensive care unit (ICU), and lower MP is associated with better MV strategies. The study compared different algebraic formulas for calculating MP and found that the performances of the formulas varied.
