This article, published in the Journal of Clinical Apheresis, discusses the validation of Nivestym (NV) compared to Neupogen (NP) as a mobilization agent for stem cell donors. The study found that NV performed as well as NP in terms of donor safety, efficacy, and adverse events. The data provide reassurance to transplant teams and apheresis centers that NV can be used as an effective and safe alternative to NP for stem cell mobilization.
