"The Iconography of Depicting Naked Enemies in Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia: A Comparative Study" examines the portrayal of naked enemies in ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian civilizations. The study analyzes the similarities and differences in the depiction of scenes involving naked captives and the concept of stripping prisoners of their clothes. It concludes that scenes of naked enemies are more common in Mesopotamia and that nudity is associated with shame and humiliation. The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the iconography of naked enemies in these ancient civilizations, highlighting the use of nudity as a tool of power and dominance.
