Emotional intelligence has become a crucial factor in solving human's problems. Researchers in various fields have studied emotional intelligence and found that the construct is related to various intrapersonal and interpersonal factors, such as mental health, relationship satisfaction and job performance. This article provides an overview of current research on emotional intelligence and the many scientific techniques for capturing and analyzing emotion.
