In the past 5 years, there has been a growing focus on infectious diseases, such as viral infections (coronavirus, Mpox, and influenza), sudden pandemics, and persistent bacterial infections (cholera, malaria, and tuberculosis) that continue to be a challenge in epidemic areas. We analyzed epidemic data from dozens of infectious diseases between 24 April and 23 May 2023 using Shusi Tech's Global Epidemic Information Monitoring System. This analysis will provide a quick overview of the global epidemic status, and will facilitate the prediction and assessment of future pandemics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
