Abstrakt: A study conducted by researchers at Birjand University of Medical Sciences in Iran has explored the potential therapeutic properties of bimetallic S. pachycarpa@ag-doped ZnO nanoparticles for the treatment of multiple myeloma. The researchers used green synthesis to create the nanoparticles and conducted tests on U266B1 cells to evaluate their toxicity and impact on cell viability. The results showed that the nanoparticles had a concentration-dependent effect on cell viability and increased the expression level of the P53 gene. While further studies are needed to understand the mechanism of action, the findings suggest that S. pachycarpa@ag-doped ZnO nanoparticles could be a promising avenue for multiple myeloma treatment.
