Abstrakt: | Researchers from the Affiliated Hospital of Jiujiang University in China have conducted a study on vascular dementia (VD), a prevalent cognitive disorder among the elderly. The study focuses on the emerging role of extracellular vesicles (EVs) derived from mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in the diagnosis and treatment of VD. The researchers discuss the mechanisms by which EVs influence the pathophysiological processes of VD and highlight the potential applications of EVs in VD diagnosis. The study concludes that MSC-EVs present a promising innovative treatment strategy for VD and could provide more effective options for VD patients in the future. [Extracted from the article] |
