A study conducted at Ulster University in Belfast, United Kingdom, examined the impact of the Maximizing Sexual Wellbeing|Cancer Care (MSW|CC) eLearning resource on healthcare professionals (HPs) providing cancer care in Northern Ireland. Interviews with HPs revealed that the program increased awareness of the need for holistic sexual support, prepared HPs to provide sexual support, and was well-received. The study emphasizes the importance of training and resources for HPs to improve sexual support in cancer care. The MSW|CC eLearning resource aims to address the lack of HP-led sexual support in cancer care and has the potential to enhance patient sexual outcomes. [Extracted from the article] |
