Abstrakt: A recent study conducted by researchers at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, aimed to assess the readiness of nursing interns for their professional roles. The study found that the nursing interns felt ready and confident to assume their professional nursing roles, although they faced some difficulties in managing multiple patients and certain skills, such as dealing with dying patients and prioritizing patient care needs. The researchers concluded that while the students felt prepared, there is still a need to develop skills and clinical competencies to enhance their professional roles and the quality of care they provide. Continuous assessment is also considered important for patient safety and increasing nurses' work retention. [Extracted from the article]
