Abstrakt: A study conducted by researchers at the University of Agriculture in Faisalabad, Pakistan, has found that the flavonoid tectochrysin (TEC) has potential curative effects on testicular toxicity induced by the herbicide paraquat (PQ) in rats. The study involved administering PQ and TEC to rats and evaluating their effects on antioxidant activity, hormone levels, sperm viability, and histological damage. The results showed that TEC treatment significantly improved antioxidant activity, sperm quality, and hormonal levels, while reducing inflammation and histomorphological damage. The researchers concluded that TEC could be a potential candidate for treating testicular toxicity. [Extracted from the article]
