Abstrakt: A study conducted at Mohammed V University Rabat in Morocco has found that certain terpenes, including eugenol, eucalyptol, linalool, and carvacrol, have strong antioxidant and enzyme-inhibiting properties. The researchers used in vitro and in silico approaches to evaluate the terpenes' activities and assess their physicochemical and pharmacokinetic profiles. The findings suggest that these terpenes could potentially be used as lead compounds for the development of powerful antioxidants and enzyme inhibitors. The study has been peer-reviewed and provides valuable insights into the potential therapeutic applications of these natural compounds. [Extracted from the article]
