Abstrakt: A case report from the General Hospital of Western Theater Command in Chengdu, China, discusses a rare form of lymphoma called splenic marginal zone lymphoma (SMZL) with monoclonal IgG. The patient, a 49-year-old male, presented with symptoms such as dizziness, fatigue, abdominal distension, and night sweats. The diagnosis was confirmed through clinical manifestations, immunophenotype, and bone marrow pathology. The patient received rituximab-based chemotherapy and sequential ibrutinib in combination with entecavir, which resulted in improved blood parameters and a reduction in spleen size. The researchers concluded that rituximab-based chemotherapy is the main treatment option for SMZL patients, and Bruton's tyrosine kinase inhibitor has also shown beneficial efficacy.
