Abstrakt: This research project was born as part of a capstone subject of a Master of Education through the National Institute for Christian Education. The situation of a small Christian school in rural NSW which in recent years had seen a lowering of the proportion of Christian families enrolled, was a catalyst for the direction of the research. Fewer Christian family enrolments were having a very clear impact on the membership of the governing board and association. Not only were there few members in each group, but there was a very low pool of Christian parents to draw from. At the time the research was conducted (mid 2022), this school enrolled 87% of its students from non-Christian families. The research aimed to survey different schools in rural or regional NSW to discover how different schools engaged non-Christian parents in the life of their schools. Throughout the research, each school was de-identified to protect confidentiality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
